Circle now offers you the option to stop receiving paper statements, and view your statements online. You may find that your historical statement information is already available for your viewing.
It is important to note that online statements will not be available after a Membership has been closed. It is important to keep copies of your statements in a safe place, therefore we recommend that you please print any statements that may be required.
Note: Statement information will be provided on active accounts only. Closed accounts will not appear on statements beyond the date of closure.
To receive your statements online you must provide a valid email or SMS phone number before you choose to stop receiving paper statements. If you have not already done so, simply call our Member Relationship Team and nominate an 'Email or SMS notification'.
Each time a new statement becomes available Online, we will send you an email or SMS notification (As nominated by you).
As a security precaution against internet fraud, the email or SMS will not contain any links to the actual statement, information relating to your accounts, Circle's website or to Internet Banking.
Provided you choose email notification prior to the final date of your statement cycle, the change will be effective immediately, meaning you will receive your next statement electronically.
If you make the change to email notification on or after the final date of your statement cycle, the change will be effective from the following statement period.
To view your statement online, simply go to the home page of Circle's website and select Access my Statement online. You will need your member number and the password given to you from Member Services to view your most recent statements. We recommend that you change this password to something you are more familiar with once you have logged in for the first time.
From the 'Statement' screen you can view statements for the previous periods, searching by statement month or by year. You can also print a statement in the same format as your old paper statement.
Each time your statement becomes available for viewing online we will send you an email or SMS notification.
If you wish to 'unsubscribe' from viewing your statements online and revert back to receiving paper statements, you simply call our Member Relationship Team. You will no longer be able to access the online statement website.
If an email notification fails to deliver to your email address or we detect that you have not accessed your online statements for a period of time, we will alert you with a telephone call to advise you personally.
If an email notification delivery fails three consecutive times your email address will be marked as obsolete and your account will be switched back to paper statements. You will receive a corresponding letter. This letter does not include a statement.
Notifications can only be sent to one email address or mobile phone number, so please select carefully which address you wish to use for notifications.

You can choose to receive electronic statements for the following accounts:
Savings and transaction accounts:
- Circle Access Accounts (Including loans, savings and investments)
- Visa Credit Card Accounts
Your eligible accounts will be displayed on the 'Statement Options' screen. Only active accounts will appear.
By receiving your statements online you are helping both Circle and the environment. We actively promote the use of this FREE service to Members, however if you decide that you would like to return to receiving paper statements, then simply contact our Member Relationship Team and they will arrange it for you.
Your paper statements will be sent to the mailing address you have previously provided and you will no longer receive email notifications. Please make sure that when you contact us we have your most recent mailing address.
Paper consumption has a significant environmental impact, not only in the waste it generates, but in the natural resources and energy consumed, and the air and water pollution created, by its manufacture, recycling and disposal.
By choosing to receive your statements online you will be helping to protect our environment. In addition, you will be helping Circle's continued support of the environment on behalf of customers who choose to opt out of paper statements.
It is important to keep your contact details, including email addresses, up-to-date. If we attempt to send you an email notification and the delivery fails up to three consecutive times, we will mark your email address as obsolete. This will result in your account reverting to paper statements.
An email notification may fail due to the following issues:
- An incorrect email address - please check your email address carefully when setting up this option
- A closed email account
- Your email account inbox may be full - free email services such as Hotmail and Yahoo impose size limits on email accounts and will block delivery of email to accounts that have exceeded the limit. You should check the available capacity of your email account regularly.
- Junk mail or spam filters - please ensure you can receive emails from Circle.
To resume email notifications, you will need to update your email address. To do so, simply call our Member Relationship Team to arrange. Once you have updated your email address, you will get a confirmation email notification and the online statement function will be reset.

Security advice: Before accessing emails or the Internet, always update your virus, firewall and Windows* software. Circle emails do not include links to sign-in pages, or ask for your personal security information. For more information on security, visit Circle's homepage.

To view your statement online, simply go to Circle's home page, select Access my Statement.
